New to Halloween?
Halloween celebration means children dressed in costumes knocking on your door and yelling, “trick or treat!” You then offer them a treat – usually a small wrapped candy. Children know you are celebrating because of your poster or house decorations.
Celebrating Halloween is easy and fun. You can do it super easily or make a project out of it. Here are some suggestions.
The easy way: simply hang a Halloween poster in your window and make sure you have enough treats to pass out.
The middle way: try carving a Jack-o-lantern to set outside your door.
A Jack-o-lantern is a large round pumpkin, hollowed out and carved with a face. Often a tea-candle is placed inside the pumpkin. Here’s a website with lots of ideas for how to carve your pumpkin.
And a good YouTube video to guide you.
Going all the way: dress yourself in a costume and add other spooky decorations to the outside of your home.
